Earth is not our final home,

Up in Heaven is where we belong.

If you need some proof, this is your clue,

Jesus said, “I go to prepare a place for you.”

So open your ears and you will hear,

The words of Jesus that is so dear.

Jesus said where our home would be,

Read John 14, and you will see.

Our home is not of man made things,

But made from God who is our King.

The earth is only a temporary place,

That God has degreed through His Grace.

So don’t quit or give out,

Open your mouth and begin to shout.

Up in Heaven is our home,

To be with God is where we belong.
